For Resin Feed and Vacuum Line Connections
On the underside of the connector is a 4-way channel that ensures a good air channel for the vacuum line into the project or alternatively a good flow of resin into the infusion spiral.
This new design replaces our old resin infusion connectors where a different connector was used for the resin line and the vacuum line whilst at the same time improving the performance of the connector for both these uses.
The silicone connector is designed to accept a 6mm OD hose such as our 6mm ID budget vacuum hose. The larger channel on the underside of the connector is designed to accept our 6mm OD Resin Infusion Spiral.
Lifespan
These infusion connectors are re-usable and can be removed from the cured laminate and resin once and infusion is complete and used again. When used with epoxy resin the connectors will have a finite lifespan and over time the epoxy will start to perish the connectors whereupon they will need replacing. For this reason we offer excellent volume discounts for connectors purchased as 10 or more or even 50 or more at a time.
Polyester and vinylester resins do not perish the connector in the same way that epoxy does and so the lifespan of the connector when used with these resin systems is considerably longer.

We are infusing large parts regularly, usually several per week. These connectors are outstanding. We use them mostly for feed lines. They last a long time (we're using vinylester) and are very economical. I've not seen anything else on the market that comes close to these in price or convenience. Pro tip, they're also useful for vacuum when you have multiple lines or especially islands. Softly pull the bag down using a normal under bag line perimeter with spiral, work out your folds, bridging, etc until it all looks good. Then pull full vac and connect your other vac lines to these with a simple puncture and small wrap of butyl to seal. It save a lot of time vs arranging all the vac lines in advance.
Very good resin infusion silicon connector. I've used mine many times and they're easy to clean.
