We won’t be beaten on price!

By combining the functions of an infusion mesh and peel-ply the ML3 offers a simplified workflow and reduced production time, the advanced release layer offers very easy removal making the 'tear down' a significantly less labour-intensive task. The full permeability of the release layer allows the ML3 to be overlapped in joints without the risk of blinding that can occur with the use of a perforated release film.

Typical Uses

  • Wind turbine blades.
  • Marine hulls and mouldings
  • Automotive/motorsport panels
  • Kayak/Dinghy mouldings

How to Buy

This combination infusion media is available to buy in a folded 2lm pack, by the linear metre (5lm minimum order) or in wholesale 61lm rolls. Please choose how you would like to purchase from the drop-down list above.

The material itself is 1.52m wide meaning that each linear metre is equal to 1.52sqm.

The 1.52m width of the materials means that (except for the folded pack) it is supplied in a 160cm long box. Please be aware that this 'oversize' package can result in higher transport costs for some international destinations. The 2lm pack is folded into a small package which avoids this 'oversize' charge.

We believe we offer unbeatable prices on vacuum bagging consumables. To make comparisons easy, select the different pack/roll sizes from the drop-down menu above.

Further Information

How to use

The ML3 is laid directly on to the dry stack of reinforcement in place of a peel-ply and mesh, the resin feed line, vacuum connections, and bagging film should be set up in the normal way.

As a multi-ply media, it offers a degree of compound curve conformability but is better suited to flatter, less complex mould shapes but it is still possible to use this in more complex mouldings as the full permeability of the release layer does allow the ply to be tailored and jointed with an overlap. Joints can be secured with adhesive tape this will not affect the flow of resin.

As with all flow medias there should not be and gaps in joints, a gap will restrict and slow the resin flow which could lead to and incomplete infusion.

Like most other elements of the vacuum bagging or resin infusion 'stack' ML3 cannot be reused once resin has flowed through it and therefore should be considered a disposable consumable of the process.
