WBT2-C is the ‘composites’ kit version of the renowned WBT2 electric scissors. These professional quality electric scissors make light work of carbon fibre, glass fibre and even Kevlar reinforcements.
The ‘Composites Kit’ includes 2x ‘sharp’ cutting heads, 2x rechargeable batteries and charger station for non-stop cordless use.

WBT electric scissors have established an excellent name for themselves in the composites industry, having proved to be both incredibly effective and highly reliable over many years, even in busy production environments.
Recommended Uses
Featuring sharp tungsten steel blades, they make very light use of cutting a wide range of composite materials, including carbon, glass, Kevlar/aramid and natural fibre reinforcements, as well as bagging consumables like peel-ply, infusion mesh and bagging film.

Note: due to the tacky nature of prepreg resin systems, we do not recommend using the WBT2 scissors for cutting prepregs.
Features
Non-Stop Cordless Use
The scissors are powered by a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, providing several hours of continuous cordless cutting which, combined with a spare battery (included) a 2-hour charge time, means they can be used non-stop throughout a busy working day.
Replaceable Blades
As well as the speed, in heavy-use situations, one of the biggest advantages of the WBT2 shears is their replaceable cutting head which allows the scissors to be restored to ‘as-new’ cutting performance for a much lower cost than replacing (or having sharpened) a set of conventional composites shears.
The WBT2-C kit includes an ‘A-type’ cutting head (the sharp version, better for composite materials) and a second, spare ‘A-type’ cutting head, ready to restore the ‘as-new’ cutting performance of the scissors with zero down-time.
Spare replacement cutting heads are also available to buy separately.
