Traditional 'woven roving' low-cost woven glass reinforcement for general fibreglassing. Woven roving makes a good alternative to chopped strand mat (CSM) in many applications where its woven construction produces a stronger/stiffer laminate. Being a woven cloth it uses no binder and so is compatible with all resin systems, including epoxy.
1m wide. Sold by the linear metre or in full box quantities.

290gsm plain weave woven rovings (woven glass fabric) is the most common and cost effective fabric reinforcement used in composites. Woven glass has superior performance to chopped strand matt and can bring many of the structural advantage of a woven reinforcement (like carbon fibre) for a fraction of the cost.
Use woven glass to reinforce composites parts, either used in conjunctions with more advanced reinforcements such as carbon fibre or Kevlar or on its own. Woven glass can also be used to reinforce moulds.
Typical Uses
Our woven 'E' glass does not include any chemical binders and therefore is suitable for use with any resin system including epoxy, polyester and vinylester.
How to Buy
This 290g plain weave glass woven roving roll is 1m (39") wide and the fabric is sold by the linear metre. The unit price shown is for 1 linear metre, volume discounts automatically apply for larger quantities of fabric.
Please purchase the number of linear metres you require. When purchasing multiple metres, for shorter lengths, the fabric will be supplied folded to keep package size and hence shipping costs down. If you need your fabric on a roll for a specific application then please contact us and we will be more than happy to supply it that way.

For wet-lay lamination you will use approximately the same weight of resin as the weight of the fabric. For example, with a 200gsm cloth, for 1 square metre you will have 200g of fabric and thus will need 200g of resin to wet it out, plus a small amount of wastage for the brush and mixing pot.
You can purchase a sample of our glass cloth here.
Yes these rollers are ideal for spreading resins over woven fibreglass especially for large layups.
