This full roll of wholesale carbon fibre ships in a very large and heavy box. To ensure safe transit it will be shipped on a compact pallet by TNT - This does mean slightly increased transport costs but ensures that the fabric cannot be stood on end and will undamaged during transport.
Please note that palletised deliveries by TNT are not available to all countries so in rare circumstances we may need to contact you to discuss alternative arrangements.

The fabric listed on this page is surplus or quarantined stock from one of the world's largest weavers of carbon fibre and as a result we are able to offer it here for a fraction of its original price. Although manufactured to exacting standards from premium fibre, this stock may have been quarantined for a number of minor reasons such as weight out of tolerance, a cancelled order, minor defects or simply be aerospace stock that's past its shelf-life.
Description
Premium quality 395gsm 5 harness satin weave carbon fibre fabric woven using high strength Mitsubishi Tairyfil TC33 carbon fibre in a 1250mm width.
This 395g 6k fabric offers a perfect balance between a smooth finish 3k and a lower cost heavyweight 12k fibre; 6k fibre is much sought-after but usually attracts a premium price - for example our standard 375g 6k carbon fibre fabric is £19/sqm (when purchased in full 100sqm quantities).
This material is suitable for a wide range of uses and could be used as either a surface or backing ply. The combination of 6k fibre in a 395g weight means the fabric is very 'closed-up' making it excellent for visual applications and resulting in minimal print-through on the component surface.
Each layer will add around 0.4mm of thickness to the laminate.
