290gsm plain weave woven rovings (woven glass fabric) is the most common and cost effective fabric reinforcement used in composites. Woven glass has superior performance to chopped strand matt and can bring many of the structural advantage of a woven reinforcement (like carbon fibre) for a fraction of the cost.
Use woven glass to reinforce composites parts, either used in conjunctions with more advanced reinforcmements such as carbon fibre or kevlar or on its own. Woven glass can also be used to reiforce moulds.
