Genuine Kevlar Plain Weave 300g Fabric Cloth. This fabric is 1m (39") wide.
When purchasing multiple metres the fabric will be supplied in one continuous length.
Uses and Suitability
Heavyweight 300g 2/2 twill weave Kevlar fabric can be used on its own or in conjunction with other reinforcement fabrics (such as carbon fibre) to achieve a very strong and impact resilliant composite.
Kevlar provides very high resistance to impact and abrasion and is much more resiliant to fracture separation than other reinforcements (including carbon fibre).
Kevlar can be laminated in just the same way as carbon fibre. It is suitable for use in wet-lay, vacuum bagging or resin infusion.
For maximum performance Kevlar should always be laminated with Epoxy resin.
