All our carbon fibre sheet is manufactured by us, in-house. Our extensive flat sheet facilities include a 3m x 1.5m autoclave, 600mm x 600mm heated platten press and a 2m x 1m vacuum press which allows us to manufacture a range of different specification carbon fibre sheets to the highest standards. Prices are kept low by buying direct from the manufacturer.

General information

Rigid carbon fibre sheet is sheet material, reinforced either in part or in full by carbon fibre. It can be used in a wide range of applications including engineering, architecture, marine, aerospace and motor sport.

Rigid sheet is flat and cannot re reshaped or re-formed to follow any other shape.

We stock two types of carbon fibre sheet: wet-lay and pre-preg. Wet-lay sheet has a high gloss finish on one side, with an uneven surface on the reverse. It is stronger than fibreglass sheet (owing to its carbon fibre reinforcement) but not as strong as pre-preg. Pre-preg carbon fibre sheet has a perfectly flat gloss finish on both sides, is very strong (owing to its perfect ratio of reinforcement to matrix and pressure consolidation during curing) and is manufactured to engineering tolerances.

We also stock a range of rubber-like flexible carbon fibre sheet and materials to cover existing, none-flat surfaces with carbon fibre.
